This is not your average ski pant! We made these because we got really tired of wet chairlift butt. They are intended as wintery mix and powder day ski pant. The butt and thighs are coated for extra waterproofing. The design is simple, which allowed us to offer them at a lower price than your traditional ski pants. Disclaimer: In enhancing waterproof, we sacrificed some breathability. We do not recommend these for touring.
We had some leftover PVC-coated fabric from this season, so we made some weather-resistant totes! The bags are on the larger side, a simplified boot bag intended for ski boots, helmets, and weekend trips.
This is a 3-layer membrane fabric. It has a soft, flexible hand, light stretch, and moves comfortably with the body. Specs are below.
The soft outer shell (face fabric) offers wind resistance and a water-resistant finish (DWR), the middle layer (membrane) provides protection against wind and heavy moisture, and the inner layer protects the membrane and provides a soft hand feel and a smooth sliding surface over layers.
SOLD BY THE YARD. Adding 1 to your cart means 1 yard.
Does this need an explanation? It is only the most quintessential piece of ski equipment of all time. Now you can have one that says butts on it. ($30 purchase minimum)
Made with our leftover fabric and old prototypes, our Dopp Kits were sewn in Vermont by Birdie Blue, a brand that recycles old ski pants into bags and accessories. We love these for skins, first aid supplies, toiletries, snacks, whatever.
